Timothy B. Daniel, M.D. was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He is a graduate of Yale College, Class of 1981. He then attended University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1989. After one year internship in pathology at the University of Hawaii, he attended his residency in radiology again at the University of Florida, where he studied under Dr. Dick Hawkins, one of the fathers of Interventional Radiology. He then trained under Dr. Charles Tegtmeyer, another leader in the world of Interventional Radiology, at the University of Virginia.He started his career as a faculty member at the University of Florida, urban campus in Jacksonville, Florida, for three years from 1995-1998, where he became chief of the division of Interventional Radiology, and where he started a fellowship program, training doctors to become Interventional Radiologists. He then moved into private practice with the large Jacksonville practice of Drs. Mori, Bean, and Brooks, where he became chief of the division of Interventional Radiology at Baptist Hospital.
In 2008, he moved to Thomasville, Georgia to begin a new group, called Vascular Interventional of Thomasville, Associates, or VITA. He performs all aspects of Vascular and Interventional Procedures at Archbold Medical Center, a regional referral center hospital. Dr. Daniel has been treating vein disease for over 10 years.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Board of Radiology, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. In 2007 he received the honor of being voted into the elite groups of "Top Doctors in America" and "Top Radiologists in America". Dr. Daniel is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Phlebology.
Craig Yokley M.D. is a Vascular and Interventional Physician who is pleased to join VITA in September of 2008. Dr. Yokley is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. He majored in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Yokley completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Procedures at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is Board Certified with a certificate of added qualifications in vascular and interventional procedures.Dr. Yokley takes a personal approach to medicine, carefully listening to his patients and providing the latest in minimally invasive care. He has over 15 years of experience in vascular and interventional procedures. Dr. Yokley has a special interest in diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease (PVD)- improving circulation in the body using nonsurgical techniques including ballon angioplasty, stenting and directional atherectomy. Other areas of interest include minimally invasive cancer therapy, dialysis access management, and treatment of renal and biliary disease. Dr. Yokley is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and has been treating vein disease for over 10 years.
